Overview

The Serial Staged Team was focused on designing and constructing a launch vehicle that can reach and surpass 100,000 feet, as well as developing reliable fabrication methods for future rockets. Research began in the fall of 2015, and construction took place during the spring and summer of 2016. The first prototype rocket, NETHER, successfully launched and staged for the first time in September 3rd of 2016, andunderwent several successful tests.

Unfortunately, however, a faulty engine caused the loss of the NETHER prototype in January of 2017.
